I was going to wait until it got a little bit more into Spring to introduce these earrings, but I am just so proud of them I couldnt wait. These are an original design and will go well with many of the Spring/Summer clothing designs that have an emphasis on influences in nature, such as foliage, florals, and natural materials. I have always been drawn to nature as an influence, and this piece clearly shows that.
These earrings feature 3mm X 5mm Freshwater pearls which are handcrafted into an intricate linear vine design, which contrasts sharply with the organic form of the oval hoop in which it is encased. The vine works downwards to a 5mm X 7mm peruvian opal briolette. I just love how pearls look with peruvian opal or peruvian chalcedony - such different colors yet they go so well together. The earrings will fall about 2.25" from the bottom of the earwire, all metals used are 14 karat gold filled. Just perfect for spring.
